I would say that the forge bottleneck (1 ingot per 10 seconds, only 1 forge in the game) makes obsidian much less desirable cost/time value wise...it would help if they doubled/tripled the durability of obsidian tools and weapons if they're going to do that kind of bottleneck, you know, to offset forcing everyone to share a forge...and take almost 17 minutes just for 100 ingots...
